Equity Pricing Information
I am a human being and I lead with my values. I want to include folks who want to quilt at LQL, regardless of economic reality. We all deserve to be able to explore our creativity and make things.
The prices listed on the website are "pay it forward" prices. Folks who pay this price are helping others to realize their hopes of learning and practicing quilting. Thank you for helping make this part of the world a bit more just. If you feel moved to donate more, you can do so at checkout, and it will be most amazing.
If these prices are a bit steep for your level of spending power at this time, subscribe to the newsletter. Each one will include links to in-depth information describing the economic practice of Equity Pricing and provide codes for folks to use.
This is a very vulnerable way to run a business. I am trusting that those who are able to pay it forward will do so.
In my heart, I know that people in general (and especially quilters who are part of the community I am building) are decent and generous people. If you need the help, I WANT you to use it! If you don't need it and take advantage of this system, karma will find you, so I'm not going to worry about it. I am not policing who will be using the codes. No one who sits in a class with you or is ironing fabric next to you in an Open Studio will know where you fall in the pricing scale because everyone deserves to be there. The world isn't fair; this is my small way to make it better and redistribute a bit of wealth.
