LQL Membership

Our Community

The Longarm Quilting Lab is a membership-based community. We believe that creativity needs to be practiced often, and LQL is a place where you can invest time and have space to explore your creativity alongside other makers.

By becoming a member, you are committing to being part of a community of makers who know good tools are needed to make good things. Our Classroom Studio has Janome Skyline 6 machines, cutting and ironing stations, tools and space to create. In our Longarm Studio, you will be able to do hand-guided or computerized quilting.

If you are not sure about committing to a membership, make sure you sign up for the LQL newsletter so you are notified when we have Open House Open Studio times. Open House Open Studio is a regularly occurring opportunity for you to tour our space.

Note: You do NOT need to be a member of LQL to access Professional Longarm Services. If you are, that would be lovely, and a great way to support the community of makers who gather to play and learn.

Membership Options

  • Level 1 - $50/month

    You want to be part of this community and commit to make time for your creative practice. You want to create with tools that elevate your craft.

    Level 1 gives you opportunities to sign up for longarm rentals, take classes or workshops, and have access to one 3-hour Classroom Open Studio session per week.

  • Level 2 - $150/month

    You are a part of this community and you want to spend more time creating.

    At Level 2, you can come to unlimited 3-hour Classroom Open Studio sessions each week. You also get access to sign up for longarm rentals, as well as early access to register for classes and workshops.

  • Level 3 - $275/month

    You belong to and want to support this community. This level of membership helps create access for others to be members; read about Equity Pricing to understand why this is important to LQL.

    Level 3 provides all the benefits of Levels 1 and 2, PLUS one 3- or 4-week class per month.
